Good stuff...

Good reports:

I currently weigh 235 lbs, down from 270 on January 1, 2006.  A 35 lb loss, and the most I've ever shed (unfortunately, I weighed the most I ever had to start).

I'm enjoying little things, like being faced with resizing my wedding band because it's too big and falls off a lot.  Like having only one li'l hole left in my black dress belt, so I'll have to take an ice pick to it eventually, or buy a SMALLER ONE!

I'm currently ON VACATION, and wearing brand new and SMALLER clothes...wish our digital camera hadn't died, or I could post how different I look from the picture on the left!

I'm LOVING physical activity, and feel like I'm in a funk if I miss a day of working out.

I love the healthy stuff I'm eating, and even when I have some kind of craving for the bad stuff I used to be in the habit of eating, I'm always disappointed in how it actually tastes and feels.

I think I'm on a roll!  Rejoice with me!   Thanks so much for your encouragements!

EDIT:  Oh, and I climbed a 1,011 foot mountain last weekend...TWICE!!

Hey man, been a while. I have to say that I am extremely impressed. Guess you won't be stopping by Dowling's anytime soon.....we're not exactly a hub of healthy activity. Had the pleasure of seeing the rest of your family the other day...and eating lunch with Stephen and Stephanie. Hope all is well and keep up the good work. -later-

[pun alert]

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that you're off a roll?

[/pun alert.]

I'm sorry, I really couldn't stop myself.

You look fantabulous, and when ya'll get back in town I'll come over and take a photo shoot of you, since your digital finally gave up the ghost. (Of course, after the abuse of living at your house, I can't really blame it.)

I don't know you, but I just subscribed. I hope you don't mind. I find your posts very encouraging since my doctor just put me on a low fat diet and insisted I exercise to reduce my cholesterol. He put me on Niaspan, but I had an allergic reaction and can't take it.

Thanks, y'all!

Nathan - Thanks, bro!  I'm actually almost the size I was at the last CWSC - 2001.

Sherri - welcome!  I'm humbled that I'm a source of encouragement...this has been a demon I've battled since I was 9 years old, and I thought being more open about it would keep me more accountable - I mean check out these folks expecting all kinds of results from me!  I pray you'll experience the same or better results that I have!  Hard work, but worth it!!

Glad to hear it Bradt. Now - longevity. I still encourage good recordkeeping to actually track progress because you could perceive ups or down and still miss it but records will tell you the truth.

See ya

I am so like INSPIRED by you!  (Did I sound "early 80's?)!!!  Keep up the good work!  I have been doing some internet digging and have read a lot of the processed foods have MSG in them.  Check out this website< msgmyth.com >  Give Adrienne and the kids a hug for me.  Did I spell Adrienne right?

Yea, it's pronounced Agey-nan.

Congrats, Brad. I'm still climbing stairs and parking in the back of lots for you, bro. Keep it up (or down).
